MUSC Health Black River Topping Out Celebration

MUSC Health Black River Medical Center recently held a Topping Out Celebration to illustrate significant progress in construction of the new hospital in the Williamsburg/Lake City region. Medical University of South Carolina President Dr. David J. Cole; CEO of MUSC Health and Vice President of Health Affairs, University, Dr. Patrick J. Cawley; Matthew J. Severance, Chief System Development and Affiliations Officer of MUSC Health; President and CEO of Rodgers Builders, Inc., Pat Rodgers; and local health care providers, stakeholders, and representatives from local and state government were on hand for the occasion.

The steel beams signed by MUSC Health Care Team Members from all over the Pee Dee region are hoisted up to be put in place amongst the final pieces of steel for the hospital.
